It is the year 2077. Multinational corporations are now running things after they saved governments from economic meltdown and ruin; following a global recession. These corporations also got rid of things such as 'democracy'. After, all, capitalism doesn't really need democracy now, does it? Resulting in a protest, a group of radical terrorists blows up the "Corporate Congress" building that claims lives of several civilians.

There was news last week that a trailer for the ‘Aquaman’ pilot has been making its way around the internet. Originally funded by the CW in 2006, the pilot starred Justin Hartley as Arthur “AC” Curry, Ving Rhames as McCaffery, and Lou Diamond Philips as Tom Curry. With such a great cast and positive feedback (the pilot is available on iTunes), However CW passed on the show. mainly the victim of the WB/UPN merger.

Today I had a chance to watch the recording of the third episode; Professor Brian Cox takes on the story of the force that sculpts the entire universe - gravity.  Gravity has been my most difficult subjects to understand many years ago when I was doing Physics at the Uni. It is one of the strangest and most surprising forces in the universe. Starting with a zero gravity flight, Brian experiences the feeling of total weightlessness, and considers how much of an effect gravity has had on the world around us.

Sadly after the poor ratings after just one series. The show, starring Hermione Norris, Liam Cunningham and Ugly Betty's Eric Mabius, has only aired eight episodes but it was confirmed that the show would be ending after it's final episode last night. I personally thought the series was good enough to pass the first round. But I agree that the Sci-Fi aspect of the story was not enough to keep the Scifi Buffs committed as it was obvious that it was just decoration around a confused genre.

If you have some hours left on your recorder after Christmas and New year movies and shows, then good to set it for record, as on January 4, 2011, Syfy Channel will air the final five episodes of ‘Caprica’. The marathon will start at 6pm and run until 11pm. This series is called the second half of the first season, rather than being the season 2.  The story line were left hanging from season one, so it would be good to see some answers.
