For the past year, my wife has been begging me to buy a new phone as she says my old phone is mostly unavailable in recent times. I have never been interested in iPhone as to play with iOS with both iPod and iPad so I do not have any need for yet another iOS device. So it is going to be either Windows Phone 7 or an Android.  And neither has convinced me enough until this week’s announcement by Sony for Xperia Play.

Square Enix has finally announced a release date for upcoming hack-and-slash title Dungeon Siege 3, pegging 27th May for UK and Europe. America, on the other hand, will have to wait an extra few days - Dungeon Siege 3 will hit US shelves on May 31st.  This is for HD home video game consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as on PC Windows-based machines.

A quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processor inside and sharing the graphics duties alongside that will be a quad-core Power VR SGX534MP4+ GPU. This is a seriously powerful engine.

In Sony PSP2 launch event today, Sony unveiled the new device PSP2 as well as introduced “Playstation Suite”, a new cross-device game platform the company will use to bring Playstation 1 titles to Android phones and tablets (version 2.3 and 3.0). Therefore, Sony games will not exclusively be distributed to owners of the Playstation Phone that’s supposed to be officially announced next month.

Nintendo's newly announced 3DS handheld promises 3D imagery without the need for goggles. At CES press had a chance to play with the device behind closed doors. Nintendo asked the press not to take pictures of the screen turned on because of the near-impossibility of accurately depicting moving 3D images with 2D still photography. Today I had a customer that was complaining about lack of support for HTML5 in DNN. The question was completely alien to me as I could not understand the relevance of HTML5 with a Web Content Management System like DNN. I have always thought we can deliver some aspects of it so long the customer browser can manage to view it. So I thought I do some research and identify the part of the technologies around HTML5 that continue to develop, and finding a better way to distinguish the more experimental parts of HTML5 from the parts ready for use in mainstream Content Managed Sites.
